Naomi’s years of specialized training in dance performance and physical fitness, as well as her early career as a fitness instructor have made her acutely aware of the mind-body connection.

She has learned first hand the essential skills for achieving peak performance, including the ability to find one’s focus and to draw it inward to the body’s interior and retain it—while moving.

While these mental skills are more commonly associated with activities such as martial arts and yoga, there are other ways to develop consciously orchestrated forms of movement that also increase an individual’s capacity to flow through movements quickly and to incorporate unexpected actions with minimal injury.

Naomi’s recognition that both the Pilates and Feldenkrais® disciplines share a common foundation—the retention of an ‘interior focus’ during movement—led her to incorporate key benefits of both within her Movement Max mind-body skills trainings.

In addition, through her Power of Mind methodologies, Naomi enables athletes to effectively utilize more of their brain’s capacity by including an even more expansive interior focus through positive visualizations, and other forms of mental training. As a result, individuals come to understand how they unknowingly restrict and limit their potential and sports performance.

Naomi’s consultations are dedicated to enabling her clients to maximize their movement and to improve the quality of their daily living, by integrating all three Movement Max skills. She calls these components Feldenkais® Edge, Pilates Power, and Power of Mind. When all three are combined they become The Movement Max Mix.
